LITTLE TRAGEDIES appeared in Kursk, Russia, by will of composer and keyboardist Gennady Ilyin. The group managed to create a high-quality synthesis of progressive rock of the 70s and contemporary classical music with a vivid Russian identity. The performance quality and musical virtuosity reach the high standard of ELP. It's worth mentioning that almost all of the group's albums are inspired by the poems of Nikolai Gumilev, a great Russian poet.
